  • Establish and operate referral and information-sharing mechanisms for raising and addressing issues related to the rights of refugees.

  • Establish services and mechanisms for advancing the rights of refugee groups with specific vulnerabilities.

Project duration

  • 36 months | November 2024 – November 2027

Location

  • All regions | Republic of Armenia

Total project budget:

  • 2,730,000 EUR

Project activities

The project encompasses a wide range of interconnected activities designed to strengthen human rights protection and support refugees and host communities across Armenia. It will establish four community councils and six safe spaces, launch 15 human rights initiatives led by three CSOs from Nagorno-Karabakh, and implement 12 youth‑driven human rights projects. Additional components focus on forming self‑help groups, providing livelihood support, and improving healthcare for women and girls through capacity building for 100 OB/GYN doctors. Finally, awareness campaigns led by refugee women will promote access to available services and encourage open dialogue on sensitive issues.

Our role

Commit Global’s contribution centers on transforming complex legal information into an accessible, multilingual digital resource tailored to the needs of people in Armenia. Building on the Law Made Simple model, the organization is developing a localized online platform that guides users through key legal processes using a clear, decision‑tree structure. By adapting the content in close cooperation with institutional and civil society partners, Commit Global ensures that the platform reflects real needs on the ground, from basic rights relevant to the general population and displaced persons from Nagorno-Karabakh to information essential for economic migrants. Moreover, by prioritizing legal frameworks related to civic participation, the initiative directly supports Armenian youth in understanding and exercising their rights. Through this work, Commit Global contributes to strengthening legal literacy, empowering vulnerable groups, and promoting more inclusive civic engagement.
