Işınsu is a dedicated researcher with expertise in women's empowerment, peaceful coexistence, and humanitarianism. She has worked with think tanks, foundations, and research institutes, contributing to publications on foreign affairs, the Women, Peace and Security agenda, migration policy, transitional justice, terrorism, and the Humanitarian-Development-Peace nexus. These experiences have equipped her with analytical frameworks such as conflict-sensitive analysis, gender-transformative approaches, and the localization agenda, alongside exposure to participatory methodologies. Işınsu has also gained valuable experience in stakeholder management through event organization and project coordination and has conducted fieldwork as both an intern and volunteer in social policy and democratization.
With a Master's in Middle East Studies, she explored the narratives of trauma, resilience, and agency through a feminist and decolonial lens. Her work continues to be driven by a passion for bridging theoretical depth with hands-on insight. Since joining Commit Global in March 2024, Işınsu has led content and relationship management efforts, contributing to the design of solutions that empower vulnerable groups alongside fellow change-makers.
