Junior Content Writer - Humanitarian Assistance
We are looking for a talented Junior Content Writer to join our global humanitarian assistance team. If you have good writing skills, a meticulous attention to detail and passion for refugees and humanitarian assistance work, we encourage you to apply. Requirements
1. Core Qualifications
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Fluency in any other language is a plus.
Strong storytelling abilities and experience in content creation
Passion for social impact
Creative and ability to think outside the box.
Experience in editing and proofreading for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and consistency.
Experience working for a humanitarian, charitable, or not-for-profit organization is an advantage.
Knowledge of SEO principles and ability to optimize content for search engines
Experience in using analytics tools to measure content performance and make data-driven improvements.
3. Experience & Education
Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Minimum two years of experience in Journalism, Communications, or Content Creation
Creativity and the ability to generate innovative ideas.
The capacity to rapidly make editorial choices during urgent circumstances.
About the job
Work closely with the Director of Humanitarian Infrastructure and the Product team
Organize available resources and material and convert them into easily understandable language.
Edit and proofread content in English grammar, spelling, punctuation, clarity, and consistency.
Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines, tone of voice, and style guidelines.
Use storytelling techniques to create compelling narratives that resonate with our target audience.
